  1. Your course fee allows you to access the ‘Diagnostic Medical Mycology’ course for personal use. It does not allow you to copy the information on the course or use it in any way except for personal study. All the material on the course is copyright protected by Ashbee Healthcare Consultancy (except some images where the copyright holder is listed in the copyright statement) and is not to be copied, distributed or used in any other way than for personal study. Any infringement of this copyright will be aggressively defended and prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows, without exception
  2. Your course fee entitles you to 3 months access to the course, after which your access will expire.
  3. If you do not complete the course in the 3 months, you will have to pay again to complete it. If you do not complete the course, you will not be able to claim any refund of the fee partial or otherwise, unless the site has been unavailable or off-line for at least 4 weeks during your 3 months access period.
  4. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the course content, neither Ashbee Healthcare Consultancy Ltd, nor the International Society for Humanand Animal Mycology (ISHAM) will accept any liability for any errors or inaccuracies in the material or any laboratory or clinical decisions taken on the basis of it. You agree to indemnify Ashbee Healthcare Consultancy Ltd and ISHAM for any liability related to your use of the information in the course. You should ensure that any decisions you make, are not solely based on the information in the course, but are checked with the available guidelines at that time, advice from local professionals and any other relevant information available.

ISHAM processes your personal data because you are member, use our services and/or because you provide them to us and/or because you have given unambiguous permission for the processing. Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years. However, we cannot check if a visitor is older than 16. ISHAM processes personal data for the following purposes:

ISHAM does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without involving a person (for example, an employee of ISHAM).

How long we store personal data

ISHAM does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are collected. We use a storage period for your contact information of 10 years after the last contact moment with ISHAM.

ISHAM will not sell your data to third parties and will only provide this data if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. ISHAM remains responsible for these processing operations.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to isham@congresscare.com. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy of your passport, the photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) should be blacked out. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

ISHAM takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
